Important Update: Briggs & Stratton Vanguard Fuel Bowl Availability

Prev Next

We’ve had a lot of folks reach out about the fuel bowls used on Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engines. The original fuel bowls installed on most Cyclone Rake models with Vanguard engines were plastic, and over time, many have experienced corrosion or crackingβ€”especially if fuel was left sitting in the bowl for long periods.

To solve this, we now offer an aluminum fuel bowl set with gasket as a direct replacement for the original plastic version. It's built for long-term durability and once replaced, you shouldn’t need to worry about it again.

What’s Changed

The original plastic fuel bowls and gaskets were discontinued by Briggs & Stratton and became hard to find. However, we’re now able to offer a limited supply of replacement aluminum fuel bowl sets with gaskets.

Important Ordering Info

  • Limit one per customer – These parts are meant as a one-time replacement. Once installed properly, you shouldn’t need to replace it again.

  • Available while supplies last – Once our stock runs out, we do not expect to restock.

You can order the replacement fuel bowl set directly from our website here:

Recommendations Based on Engine Age

For Newer Engines (Last 10 Years)

  • Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engines sold in the last decade already come equipped with an aluminum fuel bowl from the factory.

  • These bowls are designed for long-term durability and typically do not need replacement.

  • We do not recommend removing the aluminum fuel bowl unless it’s absolutely necessary, as this can cause more harm than good.

  • If you do need to replace the factory-installed aluminum fuel bowl, please note that our aluminum fuel bowls are not a direct replacement. In that case, you’ll need to contact Briggs & Stratton directly for the correct part.

If you're unsure whether your engine needs this replacement, feel free to reach out and we’ll help you confirm before ordering.
