# Replacing Hitch Forks on a Pre-2019 Cyclone Rake

If you purchased your Cyclone Rake before 2019 and need to replace the hitch forks, there’s an important update to be aware of:

We no longer offer the original shorter hitch fork style that came with older units. Instead, you’ll need to use our current **longer Hitch Leaf Assemblies** (part #01-02-146).

And here’s a key detail—**if you're replacing one hitch fork, you must replace both** to ensure they are the same length. Using mismatched forks can cause your Cyclone Rake to hitch unevenly, which may affect performance.
