Troubleshooting Engine/Blower Unit Vibration

If you're experiencing excessive vibration in your engine/blower unit, there are several potential causes that should be checked immediately. For safety, always disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any inspection.

Common Causes and Solutions

  1. Loose Impeller Bolt

    • Disconnect spark plug wire

    • Look inside blower housing

    • Check if impeller bolt is securely fastened

    • Tighten if necessary

  2. Damaged Impeller Blade

    • Disconnect spark plug wire

    • Inspect each blade through blower housing

    • Look for any signs of damage

    • Contact us for replacement if damage is found

  3. Impeller/Hub Separation

    • Disconnect spark plug wire

    • Check center of impeller

    • All components should be concentric (like a bullseye):

      • Edge of impeller

      • Washers

      • Bolt

    • If not properly aligned, replacement is needed

Safety Note

Always disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any inspection or maintenance on your Cyclone Rake.
