Will It Fit? Making Sure Your Mower and Cyclone Rake Are a Match

Prev Next

Whether you’re connecting a new Cyclone Rake to an existing mower, or a used Cyclone Rake to new equipment, getting the right fit is essential for smooth operation and maximum debris collection. Cyclone Rake systems are compatible with most riding mowers and lawn tractors, but there are a few key requirements and parts you’ll need to get it all working properly.

Check Basic Mower Compatibility

The first thing to confirm is whether your mower meets the essential requirements to work with the Cyclone Rake. It must have:

  • Right-hand discharge (this is required)

  • Minimum 10 HP engine

  • Sturdy rear frame capable of towing

Not compatible with:

  • Stand-on or standing mowers

  • Articulating or front-deck mowers

  • Rear-discharge or left-discharge models

Understand the 3 Key Connection Points

Once compatibility is confirmed, your setup will require three properly matched components:

  • Mower Deck Adapter (MDA) – Fits your mower deck and Cyclone Rake model

  • Deck Hose – Connects the MDA to the Cyclone Rake’s engine/blower

  • Hitch – Attaches the Cyclone Rake to your mower’s rear frame

All three must match your mower’s exact make and model and the Cyclone Rake model you own or plan to purchase.
