Understanding Your Hitch Part Number

All Cyclone Rake hitches follow a consistent part numbering system, making it easy to identify the right one for your setup:

• Base Number: All hitches start with 208.

• Letter or Number Suffix: A letter (e.g., 208D) or a number (e.g., 208-011) at the end of the part number indicates the specific hitch type designed for your mower brand and model.

• "A" Prefix: If your part number starts with an "A" (e.g., A208), this means the hitch was purchased separately as an aftermarket accessory.

• "B" Suffix: If your part number ends with a "B" (e.g., 208B), this means the hitch was purchased with a new Cyclone Rake.

📌 Important Note: Unlike our Mower Deck Adapters, Cyclone Rake hitches are not model-dependent—any Cyclone Rake hitch will work with any Cyclone Rake model.

• Class 3 Receivers (2" square hole): Use Part #208R with included mounting instructions.

• Class 2 Receivers (1¼" square hole): Use Part #208-001 with included mounting instructions.

One of the most common questions we receive is: What's the ideal hitch mounting height?

For best performance, install your Cyclone Rake hitch:

📏 Between 10 to 14 inches above the ground 📍 Centered horizontally between your mower's rear wheels 🔄 Level with the ground (not angled up or down)
