Cut vs. Uncut MDAs:
The type of MDA is specific to the make and model of your tractor. We have dozens of Mower Deck Adapters (MDA) that fit a variety of different deck shapes. To accommodate these different mower deck designs, we offer two types of MDAs:
Cut MDAs
About half of our MDAs are pre-cut specifically for decks with odd shapes that would be too difficult for someone to cut at home. These are designed for unique or complex deck openings, making installation quick and easy without modifications.
Uncut MDAs
For decks with common rectangular openings, we offer uncut MDAs. Even if multiple decks have similar rectangular openings, slight variations may exist that we may not be aware of. Cutting your own MDA ensures a much better fit for your specific mower. Our uncut MDAs include step-by-step installation instructions and a video tutorial, making customization simple with basic tools.

Do I need a mower deck adapter for the Cyclone Rake?
f you already have a mower deck adapter from a previous bagging system, you can absolutely use it with the Cyclone Rake. We’ll even include a rubber collar at no charge to help connect it properly. If you don’t have an adapter, we offer our own Mower Deck Adapter for $119 (when purchased with a new Cyclone Rake). Made from high-density polyethylene, it’s tough, clog-resistant, and designed to fit a wide range of mower deck styles.
How thick are the MDA support blocks?
The MDA support blocks are 1/4" thick.
