Understanding Your Collector Bag's Top Brace: Common Questions

Prev Next

When setting up your Cyclone Rake's collector bag, you might have questions about the Top Brace. This simple guide will help clarify some common concerns.

How Many Top Braces Should I Have?

Your Cyclone Rake comes with only one Top Brace for the collector bag. This single brace is all you need for proper operation and support. If you're wondering about the second set of holes at the front of the side tubes, these aren't for a second braceβ€”they're designed for our optional Roof Rack Carrier accessory.

Where to Install the Top Brace

The Top Brace should be installed at the rear set of holes at the back of the collector bag. This provides the optimal support for your collector during operation.

Can't Find Your Top Brace?

If you're setting up your new Cyclone Rake and can't locate the Top Brace, check underneath the Collector Frame. During shipping, we secure the Top Brace to the underside of the frame to protect it during transit. Many customers find their "missing" brace attached there!

Installation Tip

When installing the Top Brace:

  • Position it over the two rear holes in the top of the side tubes

  • Secure it using the two attached knobs and clamp brackets

  • Make sure it's firmly tightened before operating your Cyclone Rake
