What to Do if Your New Cyclone Rake arrives damaged by ABF

Prev Next

We work hard to ensure your Cyclone Rake system arrives safely. That’s why new Cyclone Rakes now ship via freight delivery with ABF, which greatly reduces damage compared to multiple-box shipping.

However, if something does arrive damaged, here’s exactly what to do.

Step 1: Inspect the Pallet at Delivery

When your pallet arrives, take a moment to check for any obvious issues before unwrapping.

Look for:

  • Torn shrink wrap

  • Crushed or broken boxes

  • Damage to the pallet

  • Signs that boxes have shifted

πŸ“Έ Tip: Take a few quick photos of the pallet as delivered.

Step 2: If Damage Is Visible, Note It Right Away

If you notice damage immediately:

  • Take photos of the affected area

  • Keep all packaging materials

  • Make a note of the damage if possible at delivery

Then contact our Customer Support team as soon as you can.

Step 3: Concealed Damage (Damage Found After Unpacking)

Sometimes damage isn’t visible until after you open the boxes. This is called concealed damage.

If you discover damage after delivery:

  • Report it within 5 business days
(starting the first business day after delivery)

Even if the pallet looked fine on arrival, please reach out right away once damage is found.

Step 4: Take Photos and Document the Issue

When reporting damage, the most helpful things you can provide are:

  • Photos of the pallet and shrink wrap

  • Photos of damaged boxes or parts

  • A brief description of what was affected

This allows ABF and our team to determine whether an inspection is needed.

Important: Freight inspections are typically required for damage valued over $2,000.

Step 5: Contact Customer Support Immediately

Please don’t worry β€” we’ll help resolve it quickly.

When you contact us, include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damage

  • When you noticed the issue (at delivery or after unpacking)

We’ll guide you through replacement parts, returns, or claim handling.
