Why Blower Housing Liners Are Not Sold Separately: A Safety and Quality Consideration

Prev Next

With over 25 years of experience selling and supporting Cyclone Rakes, we want to explain our policy regarding blower housing liners. While we offer most replacement parts individually, the blower housing liner is a unique case.

Why We Don't Sell Liners Separately:

Safety Considerations:

  • An improperly installed liner can contact the impeller, creating chips and "out-of-round" situations

  • This contact can damage both the impeller and engine

  • A loose liner during operation poses serious safety risks

Wear Pattern Understanding:

  • The liner protects the housing from abrasive conditions during operation

  • If a liner wears through, it can lead to housing damage

  • When liner failure occurs, the housing often shows excessive wear

Installation Expertise:

  • Proper liner seating is critical for safe operation

  • The impeller must never contact the liner

  • Professional installation ensures proper clearance and fit

We respect that many of our customers are skilled at equipment maintenance and repair. This policy isn't about limiting your ability to maintain your Cyclone Rakeβ€”it's about ensuring safe, reliable operation for years to come.
