Adjusting Your CRS Hose Length for Optimal Performance

Prev Next

The Cyclone Rake Single (CRS) model features an innovative hose management system that requires proper adjustment for the best performance. Here's how to get it just right:

Setting Up the Hammock

The hammock is your key to proper hose support. Position it so that the hose receives even support across its length. This ensures:

  • Minimal ground contact

  • Reduced wear and tear

  • Optimal performance during operation

Fine-Tuning for Turns

Left Turns

  • Watch for the hose dragging on the ground

  • If dragging occurs, adjust the hammock position

  • Ensure the hose maintains proper clearance throughout the turn

Right Turns

  • Monitor for pulling at the hose collar or MDA (Mounting & Discharge Assembly)

  • If you notice strain, adjustment is needed

  • The hose should move freely without tension

Hose Hanger Adjustments

The hose hanger position is crucial for proper balance:

  • Move forward to reduce left turn drag

  • Move backward to decrease right turn strain

  • Find the sweet spot where both turns operate smoothly
